The Bucs get their first win in the last two years, as they shut out Jefferson 24-0 on April 16th.

Senior Jack Aldi said, “Jefferson was a great game, they had good athletes on both sides of the ball but we came in there with one midst and that was to win. Our offense moved the ball great and our defense shut them down to hold them to no points. It feels good to finally win. I’m looking forward to our last game next week and getting the win.”

Senior Jonathan Fettes opened the game with a touchdown on the second play from scrimmage on a 28 yard run. He had the two offense touchdowns for the Bucs.

Senior Jonathan Urbieta led the team with rushing yards with 108 yards on nine attempts.

Junior Kaden Finnestad kicked a 32 yard field goal as well as made all three points after touchdowns.

Head Coach Jim Morrow said, “It was a great team win.  We had a great week of practice and executed well on offense and defense.  We played our most physical game at many positions.  We hope we can get another one this week.”

A strip sack by Senior Seth Lane led to a 20 yard scoop and score by junior Justin Dennis.

Dennis said, “It was nice to get our first win as a team and getting the game sealing touchdown was a nice feeling.”
