The Boys’ soccer team wraps the season up with a home game against  Harlem on April 8th, losing to the Huskies in overtime shootout with a score of 5-3.

Bucs have played almost every team in the conference to overtime this season. The team had Senior night honoring Cesar Garcia, Juan Rodriguez, and Jose Martinez.

Player Sam Herrejon said, “Most of us are sophomores and freshmen so it’s a pretty young team. We’re still to win as many games as possible though”.

The team also had an away game against Guilford on April 6th, losing to the Vikings with a score of 3-2.

Mr. Coach Chris Horteales said, “After having some key players back from injuries I’m hoping we can close out the season strong. ”

The team had games during spring break and came out with two wins, beating Freeport 1-0 and beating Marango 5-0. During the break, Cesar Lopez had 3 goals. Cesar Garcia, Jorge Hernandez, Brayden Johnson, and Noe Baltazar also scored during spring break.
