BHS sports to allow limited fans

With Covid-19 still holding a threat to shutting down sports, BHS is allowing a limited number of people to attend the spring sports.

This years spring sports are Football, Sideline cheer, Boys soccer, and Girls volleyball.

Senior volleyball player Paige Kitsemble said , “It’s gonna suck to not have a student section for the home games, but I am happy to just get a last season in.”

Girls Volleyball is having each player fill out a player guest list where they are allowed to have two guest for only home games.

Boys Soccer has no limit for seating as they are expected to have smaller crowds.

Junior football player Justin Dennis said, “I wish that we could have full stands but I understand the limitations.”

Football is allowing 500 home and away fans. The number of fans varies from different stadiums within the NIC-10.

According to BHS Athletic Director Mr. Josh Sternquist the gates will open an hour before the game where it will be first come first server.  Sideline cheer will be taking place at Football games.

For away football games players will fill out player guest list with a max of four guest. At least 2 of the guest have to be family members.
