The Boys’ bowling team finishes in first place at Cherry Bowl against Boylan, on Monday, Feb. 15th. Varsity coming out with a score of 3277 to 3073 and JV with 2972 to 0.

Varsity’s high score and high series go to Sophomore Johnny Carter with a score of 246-659. JV high score and high series go to senior Ryan Schoon was a score of 203-544.

Coach Marc Felix said”Although we got the job done and brought home the win, we did falter slightly from where we would like to be scoring. 3277 is only 8 pins better than what we shot at Freeport. Winning is great but we need to do so while growing and improving.”

The next match is Friday 19th against North, Mr. Felix said “We’re going to work hard all week so we can be at our best for that match”.

The Girls Bowling team loses against Boylan with a score of 2 to 15 but shows improvement. Coach Blaise Humphry says” We are showing a lot of improvement from the beginning of the season. The girls are having a lot of fun and enjoying the season that we have”.

Junior Karah Hook led the team with a series of 504 and freshman Riley Freemen followed Hook with a series of 494.
