The boys volleyball team lost their first couple of matches to Harlem on March 22 and East on March 20.

The team had a tough 2-1 loss to Harlem on Thursday. They won the first game 25-21, but they lost the last two sets 17-25 and 21-25. Junior Dylan Brooks had a 24 digs.

“We were with them the whole game. Just little errors caused the outcome of the game, but we will be working over spring break to get better. Overall, it was a great game, and I think that we played very good as a team,” said Brooks.

The guys also lost 2-0 to East on Tuesday. They lost the first game by a score of 17-25, and they lost the second one by a score of 16-25. Brooks had nine digs in the match.

”That was a tough loss, and I think we were all out of it on Tuesday. We weren’t prepared for East, but I’m confident that we will bounce back,” said junior Brandon Mendoza.

The guys will play Jefferson at home on April 3, and they will play at Boylan on April 5.
