The continued success of the 2017-2018 BHS Scholastic Bowl team demonstrates the high quality of academics at BHS. To celebrate Christmas and help out the community, many BHS clubs will participate in Hometown Christmas on Dec. 1 2017, on State Street in downtown Belvidere. This years Hometown Christmas will begin with the Hometown Christmas Light Parade at 5:30 p.m, but that’s only the beginning of some of the activities that will be taking place this year. The boys bowling team earned some hardware at their home tournament on Jan. 6 after their disappointing finish at the Boylan Invite on Dec. 28.
